The trip
The film is a collaboration between Onboard Store Bali, Christenson Surfboards, Christenson Surfboards Australia, and Pukas Surf, shot on a team trip based out of the Agamui resort. It was filmed and edited by Ryzoto, with additional footage by Charlie Stambo.
The crew
Four surfers carried the trip: Christenson team riders Beau Cram, Oscar Langburne, and Aritz Aranburu, joined by Tom Carroll. Between them they put a huge cross-section of the Christenson range through its paces in serious surf.

You will see the Lane Splitter and Cafe Racer, the Acid Phish and Myconaut, the OP3 and OP4, and the Osprey and Waterlion all getting ridden in quality waves.
The idea
The title is the thesis. In an age of geotags and crowded line-ups, the film is a nod to old surfing values: patience, exploration, and keeping a few things to yourself. It is a love letter to the boards, the riders, and the waves worth protecting, the same craft and curiosity that has defined the label for 35 years.
